## A UNIVERSE OF COMFORT

Cosmopolitan Golf & Country Club is open all year long. The building consists of the Golf Club and the Resort, situated on the coast inside the Dune Oasis of Tirrenia, in the pine wood of the Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Nature Reserve. The Club can be reached in a few minutes from Pisa and its airport, but also from Viareggio and Livorno. It is also well connected to the most important Tuscan tourist cities such as Florence, Lucca and Siena.

The Golf Course, 18 holes, par 72, 6291m., was designed by Arch. David Mezzacane. The scenic links present some majestic views that develop in an unspoilt natural setting., was designed by Arch. The Club House., designed by Aldo Rossi, Pritzker prize-winner and an expert in Italian Architecture, this is a valuable and functional addition to the site whose rational lines recall the famous past of the area now dedicated to green, where once there stood the Pisorno Studios.
The model of the complex is now exhibited in Paris at the Beaubourg Museum along with other illustrious examples of modern Italian architecture.

### 1979

### GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

In 1979, Carlo Ponti’s daughter and his son-in-law, Guendalina and Walter Veltroni, began to develop the area towards tourism, and started building the golf course and the other infrastructure for tourists.

### THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT

Since 2001, the area has become the property of local businessmen, and now the Golf Club is one of the most popular in Tuscany.

## Conference Room

The ideal place to organise business meetings and training courses. Easily accessible with a capacity of 50 people, the room is pleasantly furnished and boasts pleasant natural lighting. Cloakroom service and custom equipment with the necessary devices are available.

## Biliard Room

Where you can play on a hand-crafted Etrusco Italian table, is located in the large and bright hall of the club, and is open and available to members every day of the year

## Food and Drink Bar

An ideal place to sip an aperitif after a game, in particular thanks to the view from the large terrace overlooking the pool and the field. The refined wooden counter of the bar shares the scene with a lounge room with large gaming tables and comfortable leather sofas.

## Exhibition

The Cosmopolitan Golf Club hosts an exhibition by the famous sculptor McElcheran, with three bronze subjects from the private collection of the Marianelli family called Businessmen. A man and a woman carrying a briefcase are installed in the spaces in front of the office. The third, a golfer, is located near the tee of starting hole 1.
